Job Summary

Job Finders Employment Services is seeking an experienced Lead Press Operator for a full-time opportunity with a local manufacturing client in Jefferson City, MO.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with strong mechanical skills, production experience, and the ability to guide a small team. The ideal candidate will help keep production running efficiently, troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain quality standards, and ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production press equipment to meet daily production goals.
• Lead, train, and support a small production crew.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and address quality concerns as they arise.
• Monitor product quality and maintain efficient workflow throughout the shift.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
• Communicate production updates and concerns to management.
• Assist with daily operations and additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous press operation or related manufacturing experience required.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to train and support team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
