Asphalt Estimator / Sales Representative

We are seeking an Asphalt Estimator / Sales Representative to help grow our residential and commercial paving business. We’re looking for someone who can build strong customer relationships, evaluate project needs, and prepare accurate, competitive proposals.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, property managers, business owners, and general contractors to discuss paving needs.

• Visit project sites, take measurements, and evaluate existing conditions.

• Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, trucking, and subcontracted work.

• Develop clear proposals that accurately describe the scope of work.

• Follow up on bids, answer customer questions, and close sales.

• Coordinate with our operations team to communicate project details and customer expectations.

• Maintain organized records of leads, estimates, and customer communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt paving estimating or construction sales preferred.

• Knowledge of asphalt paving, grading, base preparation, and pavement maintenance.

• Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and calculate material quantities.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple bids and follow-up deadlines.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
