Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers through coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
- Oversee multiple complex civil construction projects and support Project Managers in resolving challenges.
- Establish and improve project management systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Partner with Operations, Estimating, Safety, Human Resources, and executive leadership to support project delivery and workforce development.
- Monitor project performance, financial results, schedules, staffing, and operational metrics.
- Support resource planning, workload balancing, succession planning, and long-term growth.
- Promote accountability for safety, quality, financial stewardship, and company standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of progressive project management leadership experience, including direct supervision of Project Managers and oversight of multiple complex civil construction projects.
- Demonstrated success developing Project Managers and building high-performing teams.
- Experience implementing standardized processes and operational improvements.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contracts, procurement, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites and office locations.
