Warehouse Foreman

Our client, a wine equipment manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Foreman to join their team.

• This is a temp-to-hire position.
• The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30am- 5pm.
• The pay rate is $30.00 per hour.  Overtime will be required.
• A valid drivers license is required.

Warehouse Foreman Duties

• SHIPPING & RECIEVING:
• • Oversee receiving equipment from all types of trucking
  • Store and Inventory Equipment
  • • All inventory must be managed with Business Central
    • Asist in conducting Physical Inventory – Cycle Counts
    • Identifying equipment and store in proper location
    • Handling equipment properly all Prospero portfolio is irregular
• Shipping Responsibilities
• • Follow coordinator process to release merchandise (No Shipping prior to payment)
  • Logistics – Quoting and estimates
  • • Maintain logistics relationships and sourcing
• Follow S&R Process
• Attend regular coordinator meetings with Supervisor to forecast incoming containers and outgoing shipments
• WAREHOUSE SAFETY & MAINTENANCE:
• • Safety 
  • • Ensure all protocols are taken when handling equipment with personnel in accordance with OSHA recommendations
    • Report all issues and inaccuracies to supervisor
    • Complete safety certifications: forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack and boom lift
• Maintenance
• Work with supervisor to maintain warehouse and other properties
• Occasional Grounds maintenance, including snow removal
• Assist to oversee regular maintenance & inspections of all warehouse equipment, including;
• • company vehicles, forklifts, electric jacks, snowblowers, lawnmowers, etc.
• Ensuring all machinery is clean, functional, and safely stored
• COMMUNICATION:
• • • Monitor & implement improvements for efficiency
    • Attend meetings with other departments and provide updates
• Asist Supervisor with other team management
•  Delegate tasks & ensure workflow continues efficiently throughout the day
• TRADESHOWS:
• Shipping & Receiving
• Mange and inventory all tradeshow assets: including booth structures, displays and machinery
• Inspect, clean, maintain & properly package all tradeshow inventory
• See that all tradeshow inventory is shipped & received according to dates
• Continuously review tradeshow requirements, schedules and venue compliance with Team
• Asist when need with onsite support of tradeshows
