Lending Specialist III

Zing Recruiting is seeking an experienced Lending Specialist III to join a well-established financial institution in Fairfield, NJ! If you have a strong background in commercial lending, loan processing, and coordinating loan closings, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your banking career!

• Pay: $40–$50/hr

• Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004

• Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote

• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

• Start Date: November 3, 2026

• Manage commercial loans from approval through closing.

• Coordinate with lenders, Relationship Managers, attorneys, and internal banking teams.

• Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage loan pipelines and ensure transactions close on time.

• Assist with loan funding, payments, draws, and payoffs.

• Resolve documentation and processing issues to keep transactions moving.

• Ensure loan transactions are accurately processed and recorded.

• Maintain compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulations.

• 5–7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, or in a similar commercial lending position.

• Strong knowledge of commercial loan processing, documentation, and closings.

• Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans preferred.

• Experience with banking systems and nCino.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet strict deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Competitive pay of $40–$50 per hour!
