Customer Service Representative

At Ned’s Pest and Lawn, customer care means more than answering the phone. We listen, look into the issue, take ownership and solve the problem, so customers don’t have to call back. 

What we’re looking for

• Customer service experience preferred
• Clear, professional communication by phone and in writing
• A calm, solutions-focused attitude, even with difficult calls
• Accurate typing and data entry
• Comfort juggling multiple customers, systems and priorities in a busy office
• Willingness to learn our services, processes and software
• A team player who takes ownership

What you’ll do

• Answer customer calls, texts, emails and web messages quickly and professionally
• Help customers with routine service, pricing and account questions for our pest and lawn programs
• Book services, and send more complex billing, scheduling or retention issues to the right specialist
• Check each customer’s account history before helping, so every customer gets an informed answer
• When a customer asks to cancel, try to keep them using approved retention offers
• Set up and update customer accounts with accurate contact, property and service details
• Write clear notes after each interaction so any teammate can see what happened, what was promised and what still needs to be done
• Work with Scheduling, Dispatch, technicians, Billing and Sales, and follow through until the customer’s request is resolved

Business Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 7:00pm | Saturdays 8:00am - 4:00pm
