Production Operator (X3)
Shift: M-F 5AM- 3:30PM (30 MIN LUNCH)

Notes from Intake:

• THREE OPENINGS!
• They do need MFG experience but are willing to train someone.
• Less technical roles, working in the direct plating area.
• Setting up, break down & prep area where they prep wheels.
• Previous Production Operator requisitions experienced challenges with candidate reliability - candidates that would confirm the interview and then no show/no call.

Qualifications:

• Review work order instructions and blueprint specifications.
• Determine appropriate set up based on order requirements; diamond size, mold geometry, availability of tacker and delivery schedule
• Operate computer for equipment settings and monitoring of processes

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated ability to understand basic principles of electroplating operations.
• Under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor the Production Operator is primarily responsible for the efficient operation of duties and responsibilities assigned in the operation of equipment.
• These are full-time positions.
• Inspects and prepares product per SOPs
• Threads and splices new material onto old, as required, and/or packages slits or handles material.
• Sets up and adjusts equipment including, coaters, winding, finishing and other duties as assigned to maintain product quality.
• Monitors equipment per requirements vs. schedule to assure efficient completion.
• Records production and raw material usage manually and electronically per SOPs.
• Cleans machinery, equipment and work area as scheduled and as needed
• Communicates and cooperates with other crew member to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
• Identifies and labels hazardous waste materials for proper disposal.
• Recommends and implements methods to increase the quality of products and/or services
• Ability to serve on Teams for quality, safety, waste reduction and lean principles.
• Participates in self-development activities and training of others.
• Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
• Performs other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business.
• Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
