Event Laborer

We are seeking an Event Laborer to support a private event at local venues. Reporting to and working most frequently with an independent event manager, this role will help prepare event spaces, handle furnishings and equipment, maintain safe conditions, and restore venues after events. No specialized equipment experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up venues for weddings and private events.
• Load and unload event equipment and furnishings.
• Place furniture and event items according to event plans.
• Support event teardown and venue restoration.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain crowd safety.
• Clean and organize event sites before and after assignments.
• Coordinate event materials and inventory as directed by the event manager.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the event team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in event setup and operations.
• Experience with event setup and equipment handling.
• Awareness of crowd safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate inventory and event materials.
• Physical stamina for active event assignments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
