EVS Housekeeping - Now Hiring

We are seeking a dependable Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. This position will primarily support discharge room cleaning and the surgical/OR department.

• Clean and disinfect patient discharge rooms within a 1-hour turnaround time.
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of Operating Rooms (ORs) and surgical areas.
• Clean high-touch surfaces, floors, restrooms, patient areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Remove trash, soiled linens, and waste according to facility procedures.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain organized EVS equipment.
• Follow hospital infection-prevention, PPE, and sanitation procedures.
• Respond quickly to room-cleaning requests and communicate when rooms are completed.
• Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality.

• Cleaning and janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Trash disposal, dusting, and hospital/EVS cleaning.
• Disinfection and infection prevention.
• OR/surgical area cleaning.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to handle work orders and custodial responsibilities.

• Previous hospital, EVS, housekeeping, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
• OR/surgical-area cleaning experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete discharge rooms within required turnaround times.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Will be working in a hospital environment with a regular schedule of 9:00 AM5:30 PM, MondayFriday. The first two weeks require training from 7:00 AM3:30 PM. Black scrubs and non-slip shoes are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, TX.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.82/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
