Software Test Engineer/ Pay rate: $45/hr.

Job Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer II to support testing and verification of advanced medical devices within the Affera Mapping and Ablation System team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual software test plans, protocols, and test cases.
• Verify software functionality and performance against requirements.
• Document test results, analyse defects, and collaborate with engineering and QA teams.
• Support regression testing, test automation, and software configuration management.
• Ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 0+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in software testing, verification, and test protocol development.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and FDA guidance for medical devices.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Polariton, TestRail, TFS, or JAMA.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred: Python, test automation, regression testing, Git/Bitbucket, and hardware debugging experience.
