High School ECS/OCS Teacher

Location: Zebulon, NC
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

We are currently seeking an experienced Exceptional Children's (ECS/OCS) Teacher with an active North Carolina Adaptive Curriculum license to provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with diverse learning needs.

• Provide individualized and specialized instruction.

• Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.

• Deliver co-teaching, small-group, and one-on-one instruction.

• Adapt lessons and instructional strategies to meet student needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and school staff.

• Maintain accurate IEP documentation and student records.

• Use adaptive technologies and appropriate learning resources.

• Ensure compliance with special education requirements.

• Active North Carolina Exceptional Children (EC) - Adaptive Curriculum license, Grades K-12.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred/required.

• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to work with students with diverse learning needs.
