Job Description

Elegant Beauty Supplies is a growing retail beauty supply company seeking an organized, detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our Corporate Purchasing Department in Hollywood, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing experience, good computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This position requires accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

The Purchasing Assistant will report directly to the Purchasing Director and assist with purchase orders, vendor communications, and inventory monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enter, update, and maintain purchase orders in the company's purchasing system.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.
• Assist the Purchasing Director with placing orders and coordinating with vendors.
• Review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and product information for accuracy.
• Enter and update product information, pricing, quantities, and vendor details in company databases.
• Identify discrepancies in purchase orders, inventory quantities, and vendor documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
