Quality Checker | Romeoville, IL | 1st shift

Peak pay: $19.50/hr (includes $2.50/hr peak premium through 12/20/26). Paid weekly.

Peak hours: Every shift is working 6 days a week right now, with overtime paid at 1.5x. That means overtime hours every week through peak. Ask your recruiter about staying on after peak.

Breaks: Two paid 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch every shift.

Start days: New starts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Peak bonuses:

• +$100 every week you work every scheduled shift, on time
• Up to $1,000 at season end based on attendance

What you'll do:

• Inspect incoming, stored and outgoing merchandise for damage and defects
• Check product descriptions, quantities, labels and packaging against the order
• Document what you find and flag damaged or incorrect items
• Separate products that don't meet quality standards
• Help with returns, rework and repackaging as directed
• Keep the inspection area clean, safe and organized

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Quality, warehouse or inventory experience a plus
• Basic computer and scanner skills a plus
• Able to stand, walk and handle merchandise for a full shift
• Background check and drug test required
• No cell phones or headphones on the floor; clear water bottles only
