Pay: $63,000–$65,000 per yea

Our client, Wind Japanese & Thai restaurant, is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead the team and support daily operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about great food, exceptional service, and building a positive team culture.

About the Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to lead front- and back-of-house teams, maintain high service and food-quality standards, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing restaurant team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations across front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Lead, motivate, and coach staff to deliver outstanding guest service
• Ensure food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently met
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost-control initiatives
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance development
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Support promotional initiatives, special events, and restaurant goals
• Help maintain compliance with food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of restaurant management or hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences
• Proficiency with scheduling, inventory, and basic restaurant operations systems preferred
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
