Industrial Power and Controls Maintenance Electrician

Location: Bellefontaine, OH
Schedule: 3rd Shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
Pay: $32.14 per hour
Overtime: Available based on business needs

When the plant is quiet, you’re the steady pulse that keeps production ready. You’ll arrive just before midnight, review active work orders in the CMMS, and prioritize the shift’s most critical items. One hour it’s isolating power and locking out a conveyor line to replace a failed sensor; the next it’s tracing a control circuit to restore a motor starter. Between calls, you’ll execute preventative maintenance to prevent the next unplanned stop—documenting every task to maintain impeccable records and support ISO quality standards. Safety anchors everything you do, from strict lockout/tagout to wearing the right PPE in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Install, commission, and verify the proper operation of new electrical equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and keep precise maintenance documentation.
• Use a CMMS to manage work orders and record completed repairs.
• Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) and all safety policies without exception.
• Support ISO quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass maintenance proficiency testing.
• Hands-on experience with 480V systems and related control voltages.
• Competent, safe use of hand tools and electrical test equipment.
• Timely completion of required maintenance training.
• Proven industrial troubleshooting and root-cause skills.

• Trade school certification in Electrical Maintenance or related field.
• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 2–3 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with contactors, relays, sensors, motor controls, and stop/start circuits.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS software.

• Frequent use of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Climb on and around industrial machinery and equipment.
• Stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Wear required PPE; work flexible hours as needed.
