Crunch Care is seeking a warm, energetic, and attentive nanny to care for a 6-month-old infant. The family is looking for a lasting partnership with someone who enjoys providing nurturing, interactive care and supporting their child’s development into toddlerhood.
The ideal candidate is playful, affectionate, outdoors-oriented, and responsive to the child’s individual needs while respecting the family’s routines and parenting preferences. The household also includes a friendly King Charles Spaniel, so candidates should be comfortable around dogs.

Provide attentive, individualized infant care, recognizing and responding to the child’s cues around sleep, feeding, and emotional needs.
Follow the family’s care instructions, routines, and parenting preferences.
Engage the child throughout the day through age-appropriate play, reading, singing, and interaction.
Support developmental milestones, movement, exploration, and motor skill development.
Prioritize daily walks, park visits, and age-appropriate outings, ideally twice a day when appropriate for the child’s routine, weather, and needs.
Communicate clearly with the parents about their child’s day, routines, development, and changing needs.
Adapt activities and care as the child grows into toddlerhood.
Keep the nursery and childcare spaces organized.
Wash, fold, and put away baby laundry.
Clean bottles, feeding supplies, and baby dishes.
Occasionally run errands for baby essentials.
Maintain supplies and organization related to the child’s daily care.
Recent professional infant-care experience, ideally substantial experience with children under 12 months
Strong, verifiable references supporting infant-care experience
Warm, affectionate, playful, and enthusiastic about actively engaging with a young child
Energetic and outdoors-oriented, with an interest in daily walks and outings
Attentive and responsive to individual sleep, feeding, and emotional cues
Calm, patient, emotionally mature, and adaptable
Reliable, punctual, and consistent with scheduling
Communicative, professional, and receptive to feedback
Proactive while respecting the family’s parenting preferences and boundaries
Interested in a long-term role supporting the child through infancy and into toddlerhood
$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
40 guaranteed hours per week
Paid time off and paid holidays, with details outlined in the employment agreement
Flexibility in coordinating vacation schedules between the family and nanny
Potential future travel opportunities, with arrangements discussed in advance
