Overnight Production Technician

Job Title: Overnight Forklift and Production Associate Location: Downtown St. Louis, MO 63102 Type: Contract to hire Compensation: $24.20 per hour Work Model: 100% Onsite Hours: Two (2) available overnight shifts (you choose). A Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM. Or B Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Follow the company’s quality rules and do the work the right way
• Follow the site safety rules and wear required safety gear
• Run different machines to make the product
• Fix simple machine problems and let a lead/supervisor know about bigger issues
• Use forklifts and lifts as needed (stand-up and sit-down)
• Use manlifts when needed
• Change the line over when needed (clean it, take parts apart, put them back together, and add lubricant)
• Work with your team to meet the day’s goals
• Do basic routine checks and simple maintenance to help the line run well
• Follow work instructions (SOPs) and follow cleaning rules to meet GMP standards
• Help the team improve how fast and how well the line runs
• Look for better ways to do the job and share ideas
• Fill out batch paperwork and record results the right way
• Help train other technicians when needed
• Help write or update work instructions (SOPs) and review them each year
• Help track numbers that show how the line is doing (efficiency, quality, and other results)
• Report safety problems right away
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality rules and complete required training

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–5 years of work experience in a production or factory setting

Preferred (nice to have):

• Technical degree or certificate
• Works well with others and can be a good team member
• Can lift 5–25 lbs often, and can sometimes lift up to 50 lbs
• Can speak and write clearly
• Can switch tasks and handle changes during the shift
• Self-motivated and wants to keep learning
• Can work well with little supervision
• Organized and interested in helping with projects
• Basic computer skills are a plus
• Pays close attention to details
