Quality Inspector / Machine Operator

This position offers a unique schedule--offering 4 days off one week, and 3 days off the next, rotating. If you would like to fit all of your work hours on a few short days with lots of time off to go to school, practice a hobby, or just relax this could be a great fit for you!

Exact hours:

Sun-Tues: 7pm-7am

Sun-Wed: 7pm-7am

The Quality Inspector/ Machine Operator is responsible to operate machinery and controls the process to produce quality finished product. This position deals with medical technology; specifically plastic fluid management parts such as tube fittings, lures, and quick connects for IV systems, bioprocessing, and drug delivery.

Essential Job Duties:

• Set up production equipment and measuring devices

• Load, unload, and operate manufacturing machinery

• Utilize tooling and materials according to job specifications

• Use of calipers and micrometers

• Enter and track data in company systems

• Perform basic machine troubleshooting

• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products

Qualifications

• 1 year of quality assurance/ manufacturing experience preferred

• General knowledge of mechanical functions

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to life 50 lbs

• Use of basic measuring equipment

• Basic computer skills (entry and navigation)

• Awareness of Lean/NBS

• Identification of safety issues
