EVS Housekeeping Technician - Williamson Medical Center - Franklin TN

Location: Williamson Medical Center, 4321 Carothers Pkwy, Franklin, TN 37067
Pay: $17-$19/hour
Schedule: Part time, 4 openings

• 1st shift, 6:30am-3:00pm: 2 people, Friday-Monday every week
• 2nd shift, 2:30pm-11:00pm: 2 people, Tuesday and Thursday every week, plus Saturday and Sunday every other weekend

Clean2TheKore is hiring Environmental Services (EVS) Housekeeping Technicians at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. You'll keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean, safe and ready for patients, staff and visitors.

What you'll do

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, nurses' stations, waiting areas, hallways and other common areas
• Do "discharge cleans": fully clean and reset a room after a patient goes home so it's ready for the next patient
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces like bed rails, call buttons, door handles, light switches and counters
• Dust, sweep, mop and vacuum floors, and spot-clean walls, windows and glass
• Clean isolation rooms following the hospital's infection control steps and wear the right PPE (gloves, gown, mask)
• Collect and remove trash, soiled linen, recycling and regulated medical waste the right way
• Restock soap, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer and other supplies
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and follow the label and dilution rules
• Set out wet floor signs and keep hallways clear and safe
• Keep your cart clean, stocked and organized
• Work with nurses and staff to get rooms ready fast and let your supervisor know about spills, damage or safety issues
• Respect patient privacy and be friendly and helpful to patients and visitors

What we're looking for

• Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (hospital experience a plus)
• Available for one of the schedules above, including weekends
• Dependable, on time and good with people
