Ramar Hall - CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools.
• Adjust machine settings, offsets, and tooling as required.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Ensure all components meet specified tolerances and quality requirements.
• Monitor machining processes and identify any issues affecting production or quality.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience setting up CNC milling machines
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and dimensional tolerances.
• Competent in using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety and continuous improvement.
