Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-oriented Cashier who is fluent in English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will assist customers with purchases, process payments accurately, and provide excellent customer service to English- and Chinese-speaking customers.
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-oriented Cashier who is fluent in English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will assist customers with purchases, process payments accurately, and provide excellent customer service to English- and Chinese-speaking customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Process cash, credit card, debit card, and other electronic payments.
- Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer inquiries and assist with product information.
- Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Chinese.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable checkout area.
- Balance the cash drawer and report any discrepancies.
- Assist with stocking merchandise and other duties as assigned.
- Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese, as required).
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills Required:
- Bilingual communication: English and Chinese.
- Customer service and problem-solving.
- Cash handling and payment processing.
- Organization and attention to detail.
