Grinder Operator

Blanchard Grinder Operator

• Set up and operate Blanchard and/or surface grinding machines
• Read and follow work instructions and company policies
• Read blueprints, use tape measures, and perform basic math
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Maintain close tolerances and quality standards
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized

Centerless Grinder Operator

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain quality standards and tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment

Double Disc Grinder Operator

• Operate Double Disc grinding equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision grinding requirements are met
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Maintain strict tolerances and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work environment

HyproLapping Grinder Operator

• Operate Hypro Lap/Hyprolapping equipment to produce precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, gauges, and calipers
• Ensure finished parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
• Work with team members to achieve daily production goals
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating one or more of the following:- Blanchard Grinders

  • Centerless Grinders
  • Double Disc Grinders
  • HyproLapping Equipment

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Experience using precision measuring instruments

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to maintain close tolerances and quality standards

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
