Forklift / Order Picker Operator - Fort Lauderdale, FL

IMMEDIATE OPENING!

Pay: $17+/hr (Based on Experience)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday + Every Other Saturday

We're hiring an experienced Forklift / Order Picker Operator for an immediate opening in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position is ideal for candidates with forklift, cherry picker, order picking, shipping/receiving, and warehouse experience who are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklifts, order pickers, and cherry pickers
• Pull, pick, and stage orders using RF scanners
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment
• Use pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Assist customers at the branch counter as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of forklift experience
• Experience operating stand-up forklifts and/or cherry pickers
• Comfortable working at heights
• RF scanner experience preferred
• Warehouse experience including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cherry picker experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Customer service experience
• Inventory and material handling experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
