We're hiring Production Helpers to support a product reclamation project within a busy warehouse environment.

You'll help evaluate products to determine whether they can be reprocessed or need to be scrapped, handle and sort materials, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production, construction, landscaping, moving, sanitation, material handling, or other physically demanding work can transfer well into this position.

🔧 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Production Helper, you'll support the reclamation process by sorting and handling products throughout the warehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sort products to determine whether they can be reclaimed or must be scrapped
• Dump oil from 5-gallon jugs into designated containers
• Repetitively handle and turn containers weighing approximately 35 lbs
• Work around some leaking containers
• Move and handle products safely throughout the work area
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow supervisor instructions
• Follow all established safety procedures

💪 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a physically demanding position, so applicants should be comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for 8-hour shifts
• Potentially working 812 hours per day
• Standing on concrete flooring
• Repetitively handling 35-lb containers
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working around oils and food products
• Working around some leaking containers
• Working in hot conditions during certain processes
• Performing repetitive physical tasks
• Working overtime when needed

Steel-toe boots are required.

Safety orientation focuses on the essential requirements of the job.

Employees are provided necessary PPE including:

Aprons

Gloves

Additional required protective equipment

You'll be expected to follow established safety procedures and supervisor direction throughout your shift.

OVERTIME AVAILABLE

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
