• Drive continuous improvements by identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing process optimizations.
• Own and improve accounting functions such as cash reconciliation, payroll, lease accounting, prepaids, and accruals.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and ensure integrity of balances across multiple entities.
• Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to support a faster, more efficient close.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, and Treasury to support key stakeholders.
• Create and maintain documentation and accounting memos that reflect changes made through transformation activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP while applying forward-thinking approaches to accounting operations and reporting.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Information Systems; CPA or CMA eligibility preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an organization undergoing finance or business transformation.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Demonstrated success in contributing to transformation initiatives, such as ERP upgrades, automation projects, or workflow redesigns.
• Strong experience with large ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Excellent Excel skills and a passion utilizing technology to automate processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive change management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
