Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday mornings (6:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Start date: November 1, 2026

The job — daily janitorial service for the House of Sport store in Greensburg:

•  Sweep and run the auto-scrubber on the sales floor

•  Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock paper and soap

•  Empty trash cans throughout the store and take trash out

•  Clean entrance areas, front doors, and glass

•  Wipe down and tidy common areas, fitting rooms, and service counters as directed

•  Complete the weekly service sign-off with store management

Requirements

•  Sweep before running the scrubber and empty the machine's tray and tank after use (training videos provided)

•  Reliable transportation and a smartphone

•  Able to work weekday mornings on a consistent schedule

•  Cleaning experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person

Supplies and the floor scrubber are provided on site.

Beyond the regular hours, Straight Street regularly gets one-off jobs at this store and our other locations — window cleaning, restroom deep cleans, buff-and-shine floor work, and other special projects as they come up. These are paid per job, separate from the hourly pay, and range from $100 to $3,000 per job depending on the size of the work. Cleaners in good standing on the daily route get first offer on these jobs, so reliable performance on the regular service is the path to the extra money.
