About the Role:
Children's Universe of Lake Conroe is looking for a organized and caring Daycare Administrative Assistant to join our team in Conroe, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the daily operations of a childcare environment where every day makes a difference in the lives of children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist parents, guardians, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage front desk operations including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling
- Increase enrollments through emails and text messages to inquiring parents and dropping of marketing materials to local businesses
- Maintain accurate child enrollment records, attendance logs, and staff documentation
- Process tuition payments, invoices, and billing inquiries
- Support daycare director and staff with administrative tasks and communications
- Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing documentation and record-keeping requirements
- Coordinate supply ordering and maintain organized office systems
Requirements:
- Prior administrative or office assistant experience, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar office software
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor when working with families and children
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus
