Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee warehouse and distribution center operations in a fast-paced automotive environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising hourly employees, driving operational efficiency, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring smooth inbound and outbound material flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct hourly warehouse/distribution center employees.
• Assign daily work activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members, salaried staff, and union representatives.
• Monitor inbound and outbound material flow to ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Complete employee timekeeping and daily operational reports.
• Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing operational demands.
• Ensure compliance with labor agreements, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Provide leadership support across warehouse operations as required.
• Work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and different shifts when business needs require.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1+ year of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience leading hourly employees in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage productivity, quality, safety, and employee performance metrics.
