Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or Sprinter Van for daily delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques.
• Deliver parcels to residential and commercial customers promptly, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams effectively.
• Follow route plans meticulously to optimize delivery efficiency while maintaining safety standards.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, handle heavy lifting with proper techniques, and report any delivery issues or incidents immediately.

Experience

• Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and manual transmission operation is preferrable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license suitable for operating a box truck or personal vehicle used for deliveries; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is not required.
