Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to DHHA policies, standard operating procedures, best practices, and code of conduct
• Provide quality preceptorship and learner evaluation as a teaching facility
• Rotate between days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on department needs
• Cover one weekend (up to two weekend days) and up to one week of overnights per 4-week schedule, based on department needs
• Participate in call coverage, up to 3 call shifts, as assigned per unit needs
• Arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of receiving a call when on-call
• Rotate between inpatient and outpatient pavilions based on department needs
• Rotate to PAV A to finish shifts when cases end early in the Outpatient setting
• Be aware of scheduling expectations, including onboarding week variations and pre-scheduled orientations
• Understand that contracted shift is subject to change for covering weekends or overnights
• Consider schedule changes and last-minute requests for time off against unit needs
