Job Description
Employers Overload is looking for CNC vertical machine operators to help fabricate parts for a local knife manufacturer. We have Day and Swing shifts available.
Schedule:
- Day: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
- Swing: Monday - Thursday 5pm - 3:30am
- Weekend: Friday - Sunday 6am - 6:30pm (first week of training on day schedule)
Pay rate: $19.00 -$25.00 per hours DOE + $2.50 shift differential for Swing shift.
Responsibilities:
- Loading parts into machine, cycling machine, detecting any malfunctions.
- Running production lots and communicating with the team.
- Inspecting fabricated parts for quality assurance and accuracy.
- Detect and report any defective materials.
- Maintain work area and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of related CNC vertical machining experience or successful completion of CNC schooling.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass a basic math exam.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to bend/stoop, twist, kneel, walk, stand, reach about and below shoulder height.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements.
- Reliable transportation is a must (not bus accessible).
