What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you'll play a critical role in rebuilding and remanufacturing high-quality transmissions that meet strict performance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble transmission subassemblies and complete transmission units
• Inspect gears, components, and parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read work orders, assembly instructions, and blueprints
• Clean and prepare components for assembly
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform basic troubleshooting and identify assembly issues
• Handle precision gears and mechanical components with attention to detail
• Meet daily production and quality goals in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Support team members and production flow as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly experience
• Experience working with mechanical components, gears, bearings, or transmission parts
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment while maintaining quality standards

Highly Preferred:

• Automotive assembly experience
• Transmission repair or rebuilding experience
• Automotive technician
• Mechanical maintenance or repair experience
• Manufacturing or production assembly experience

Schedule

🕒 1st Shift

Monday - Friday

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Consistent daytime schedule

Weekends generally off

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
