Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift

Position: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Moorestown, NJ

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary

• Assemble and configure components used in automated equipment.
• Work in various sub-assembly areas within a manufacturing environment.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Follow written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components.
• Assemble sub-components for automated machinery and equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Follow detailed work instructions and production procedures.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain productivity while meeting safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Required Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
