Job Description: This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of construction and material-handling equipment, with a primary emphasis on aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklifts, and excavation equipment. You will work on engines, motors, electrical and hydraulic systems, and equipment electronics, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all assigned machinery. The position involves both in-shop work and occasional road service calls, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with equipment from manufacturers such as JLG, Genie, Skyjack, Bobcat, CAT, Kubota, Takeuchi, or similar brands.
• Experience in servicing rental equipment or fleet equipment is a plus.
• Experience in preventive maintenance programs for construction and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to equipment and installations.
• Experience with installation and setup of equipment and related systems.
• Experience in welding and brazing to repair, fabricate, or modify parts and structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Work Environment: The role is based at a dedicated service facility in Chester County, PA area, with work performed primarily in the shop and occasional field or road service calls as needed. The shop is equipped with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, jacks, lifts, and other service equipment to support safe and efficient repairs. Employees are expected to maintain clean, organized workspaces and vehicles, follow all safety procedures, and comply with OSHA and industry-standard safety requirements. Fully paid benefits are provided as part of the overall employment package.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
