Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing

A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and improve its end-to-end supply chain operations. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring materials, purchasing, inventory, and logistics processes support production requirements and customer delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably CNC machining, aerospace, or contract manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, planning, inventory management, and supply chain activities.
• Oversee supplier relationships, negotiations, performance, and delivery.
• Ensure raw materials, components, tooling, and outside processing are available to support production.
• Manage inventory levels and improve material flow throughout the operation.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Address supplier shortages, delivery delays, and supply chain disruptions.
• Develop performance metrics and improve purchasing and material planning processes.
• Lead and develop supply chain personnel.
• Improve supplier performance, cost controls, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing purchasing, materials, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing production requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to lead teams and improve processes across multiple supply chain functions.
• CNC machining, aerospace, or precision manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
