Pipefitter Journeyman

Talent Corps is seeking an experienced and skilled commercial Journeyman Pipefitter.

Location: Washinton, DC

Duration: 4 to 6 months

Prevailing Wage Job Site

Monday - Friday (potential overtime)

As a Pipefitter, you will:

• Measure, cut, thread, and bend
• Layout, fabricate and assemble
• Be able to use hydraulic equipment
• Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
• Assemble pipe sections and components using tools
• Must have PPE and all basic tools and if have own torches is a plus
• Direct helpers and assist with rigging and layout work

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years (Pipefitter) in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, layouts, and drawings
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, spool drawings, and isometric diagrams
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (must be a Real ID)
• Ability to work early morning shifts and occasional weekends
• Comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and working in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs.

Preferred:

• Experience on government, institutional, or large-scale commercial projects
• Certifications
• OSHA10
