Laboratory Quality Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Lab Technician to inspect and test manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards. The person will work in a quality laboratory, checking product sizes, shapes, fit, and functionality using measuring tools and testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test products to make sure they meet quality requirements.
• Check product dimensions, appearance, fit, and functionality.
• Inspect materials and parts received from suppliers.
• Collect product samples from manufacturing batches and perform quality tests.
• Test products made using new or modified molds to ensure they meet specifications.
• Identify defective products and ensure they are separated from acceptable products.
• Operate measuring instruments and laboratory testing equipment.
• Help investigate customer complaints related to product quality.
• Communicate quality issues to the appropriate team members.
• Follow established testing procedures and maintain product quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a quality laboratory is preferred.
• Experience in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), product inspection, or product testing is beneficial.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges is a plus.
• Ability to identify product defects and follow quality testing procedures.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
