Logistics Coordinator 

Key Responsibilities 

• Coordinate the preparation, printing, inspection, and distribution of labels required to support plant production activities. 
• Verify labels are accurate, legible, properly formatted, and match approved specifications, part numbers, revision levels, quantities, and production requirements before release. 
• Operate and monitor label printers and related equipment, including loading approved label stock and ribbon, adjusting basic settings, and replacing consumables as needed. 
• Perform basic printer troubleshooting and escalate equipment, software, or print-quality issues that cannot be resolved at the point of use. 
• Complete first piece and in-process checks for print quality, barcode readability, alignment, adhesion, and overall label condition. 
• Maintain label inventory and supplies so required materials are available for scheduled production and changing plant needs. 
• Organize, stage, and deliver labels to designated lines, work areas, and other locations throughout the plant in a timely and controlled manner. 
• Identify, segregate, and prevent the use of incorrect, damaged, illegible, obsolete, or otherwise nonconforming labels. 
• Document label batches, revisions, quantities, reprints, and delivery locations to support traceability and production records. 
• Communicate with Production, Quality, Material Handling, and plant leadership to resolve label issues and minimize production interruptions. 
• Follow approved work instructions, standard operating methods, plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and 5S expectations. 
• Support continuous improvement activities that improve label accuracy, printer reliability, delivery timing, and process control. 
• Maintain flexibility to support changing production demands, including overtime and weekend work as needed.
