Automotive Service Department Experience Required

 is hiring an Automotive Service Dispatcher to coordinate repair orders, assign work to technicians, and maintain an organized, productive workflow in our service department.

We're looking for someone with automotive service department experience who understands repair operations, technician capabilities, and the importance of keeping work moving efficiently. Whether your background is in service dispatching, service advising, shop leadership, or automotive repair, we'd like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch repair orders based on technician skills, availability, and workload
• Monitor repair progress and help ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, and management
• Prioritize incoming repairs, appointments, and carryover work
• Maintain an organized workflow and help minimize shop downtime
• Identify scheduling conflicts and assist with resolving delays
• Monitor technician productivity and repair order status
• Support daily service department operations
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Dispatcher, Service Advisor, Shop Foreman, Service Manager, or Automotive Service Technician required
• Good understanding of automotive repair procedures and dealership service operations
• Ability to assess technician skill levels and assign work appropriately
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable using computers and dealership management systems
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well with a team
