Job Description

POSITION DETAILS

• This operation is responsible for picking up and delivering live chickens from various chicken farms to the facility in Selbyville.
• Chickens are delivered via flatbed trailer.
• Average 3 inbound loads per day.
• Automatic day cabs that cannot be taken home for time off.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strapping the chicken cages onto the flatbed using a cheater bar at the farms during pick up is required.
• The driver will pick up and deliver the chickens and be responsible for ensuring the load is secured.
• Driving on the farms is very difficult as there are grades, bumps and ditches.
• Live haul experience preferred but not required.
