Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing facility in Santa Ana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $17.50/hr. In this role, you will receive and verify incoming materials against packing slips, prepare and pack outgoing shipments, and load and unload boxes and parts throughout the facility.

Pay: $17.50/hr
Location: Anaheim, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Move received materials to the correct storage or production areas within the facility.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Label, organize, and stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
• Read and process shipping labels, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
• Sit-down Forklift

Minimum Requirements

• Basic ability to read shipping labels, packing slips, and warehouse documentation.
• 1 year of experience on a sit-down forklift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience verifying shipments against purchase orders or bills of lading.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking or basic warehouse management systems.
• Experience in a parts manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Ability to use a hand truck, pallet jack, or similar material-handling equipment.
• Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to stand and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
• Must be authorized to work in the US — E-Verify will be conducted.
• Must qualify as a US Person under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) — US citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain protected individuals qualify.
• Prior exposure to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) or government-regulated manufacturing environments.
