  • Observes and enforces the absolute prohibition on hot refueling operations at WSMR; hot refueling shall not be conducted under any circumstances.
  • Takes temperature readings and applies correction factors to record the correct quantity delivered; draws fuel samples IAW MIL-STD-3004 and prepares them for laboratory submission.
  • Performs and ensures required fuel quality checks at SRC: daily Aqua-Glow test on aviation fuel, daily filter-separator checks, and visual inspection and API gravity on every receipt; recirculates product daily and reports any abnormal fuel appearance to the Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintains full fuel accountability for the SRC node: records all receipts, issues, and transfers using DD Form 1348, DA Form 3643, and related documentation; reconciles daily transactions and submits records to the Supervisor.
  • Assists the Supervisor with rescheduling SRC delivery work when access roads close for live missile firings or other WSMR military operations.
  • Identifies and reports equipment deficiencies, supply shortfalls, and operational discrepancies at SRC; ensures SRC operator follows all safety and environmental procedures.
  • Reports any fuel spill immediately to the Supervisor; directs initial containment at SRC and supports the same-day written spill report.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and completes driver vehicle inspection reports when defects are found (49 CFR 396).
  • Complies with FMCSA hours-of-service limits (49 CFR 395) and maintains required records of duty status.
  • Works standard Monday through Friday; overtime of 10–15 hours per week may be required based on mission needs.

Minimum Requirements:
