EliteBLU is searching for dedicated Delivery Driver Helpers (Package Runners) to join our growing team. If you want a physically engaging job and want to be part of a winning team without the stress of driving a commercial vehicle, this is the perfect role for you.
NO DRIVING REQUIRED! This is a helper-only position. You will ride along with our drivers, serving as the essential "runner" who ensures packages get to the customer's door safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do (Duties)As our frontline Package Runner, you are the partner our drivers rely on. Your day will involve:
- Team Operations: Assist the driver with loading and unloading the van, ensuring cargo is secured and organized.
- Navigation Assist: Act as the co-pilot! Help with routing, GPS navigation, and spotting delivery locations to keep the team on schedule.
- The "Last 50 Feet": Safely deliver packages to the correct doorstep, interacting with customers professionally.
- Safety & Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace inside the vehicle throughout the day.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of a van frequently, and walk at a brisk pace throughout the day.
- Outdoor Resilience: Comfortable working in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat) and during evening hours.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using handheld devices/smartphones to scan packages and verify deliveries.
- Communication: Strong verbal skills to coordinate effectively with your driver.
