Janitorial Worker – Warehouse Cleaning

Job Description

GL Staffing is currently hiring Janitorial / Warehouse Cleaning Workers for a busy warehouse and distribution facility. We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment.

This is a hands-on position involving general cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining various areas throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, shelving bays, walls, and common areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and other shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and hand-wash surfaces as needed.
• Operate floor-cleaning equipment, including power buffer machines, when required.
• Remove trash and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Occasionally enter refrigerated or freezer areas for short periods.
• Follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
• Perform additional janitorial duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or warehouse cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and briefly entering cold-storage/freezer areas.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment or willingness to learn.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Starting Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
• Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided by the company.
