Shipping & Receiving Specialist - Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift skills, experience managing incoming materials, and the ability to accurately prepare outgoing shipments.

This is a hands-on position that requires someone who can stay organized, work independently, and remain active throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts, materials, and shipments.
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely.
• Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
• Keep the warehouse and receiving areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing materials to keep production running efficiently.
• Perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping and receiving experience required.
• Forklift certification and operating experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience handling incoming parts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Ability to prepare shipments and complete shipping documentation.
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience strongly preferred.
