Shift Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Shift Lead to help run smooth, successful shifts across both the front and back of house. You will lead by example, jump in wherever needed, support team members, and ensure guests receive friendly service and consistently great food.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Coordinate daily shift operations, assign stations, manage breaks, and support staffing coverage.
• Lead FOH service: greet guests, handle orders and payments, support POS/register accuracy, and resolve routine guest concerns.
• Lead BOH execution: assist on the food line, monitor order accuracy, food quality, ticket flow, and timely preparation.
• Coach and train team members across service, food preparation, safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Communicate clearly between FOH and BOH, including special orders and allergen concerns.
• Complete opening and closing checklists; monitor cash-handling procedures, supplies, sanitation, and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized restaurant and escalate staffing, food-safety, or guest issues to management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous restaurant shift leadership or management experience required.
• Strong communication, judgment, initiative, and ability to stay calm during busy periods.
• Comfort working at the register, guest counter, food line, and other stations as needed.
• Reliable attendance, flexible scheduling, and a positive, team-first attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
