General Manager

Emerald Luxury Coaches is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our daily operations and oversee the overall performance of our manufacturing facility. We are looking for a strong leader who can manage multiple departments, develop effective teams, improve operational efficiency, and ensure our company continues to deliver high-quality luxury coaches.

Position Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of company operations, including production, personnel, quality control, safety, scheduling, and overall business performance. This individual will work closely with department managers and company leadership to establish goals, maintain accountability, and ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance of all departments.
• Lead, manage, and hold department managers and supervisors accountable for results.
• Ensure production schedules, deadlines, and company goals are consistently met.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement processes to increase productivity.
• Maintain high standards for product quality and workmanship.
• Oversee employee performance, development, and accountability.
• Work with HR on hiring, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and staffing needs.
• Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed throughout the facility.
• Monitor labor costs, overtime, materials, and operating expenses.
• Address operational challenges and make decisions that support the company's success.
• Communicate regularly with ownership regarding company performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Promote a positive, professional, and accountable work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, or a similar industry.
• Proven experience managing multiple departments and leading management-level employees.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workflow management.
• Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Experience with budgeting, labor management, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound business decisions and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to lead by example and hold employees accountable.
• Experience in the RV, trailer, automotive, or luxury coach manufacturing industry is a plus.
