Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (Entry-Level)
Location: Billings, MO

A growing CNC shop located in Southwest Missouri, specializing in milling and turning operations. This company utilizes advanced precision equipment, including live tooling, quick-change fixtures, and 3D CAD/CAM capabilities to meet high-volume metal cutting demands. Known for quick-turn precision machining in the greater Springfield area, they provide custom manufacturing solutions tailored to client needs.
Position Summary
Penmac Staffing is hiring an Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator for a reputable manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in machining. No prior CNC experience is required—training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CNC machines during operation
- Load and unload materials and parts
- Ensure parts meet basic quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Learn and perform spot checks using measuring tools (calipers and micrometers) as training progresses
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- No experience required (entry-level role)
- Familiarity with calipers and micrometers is a plus
- Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch

Based on Experience
Assignment Length
- 3–6 months
- Potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business growth
