Skilled Remodeling & Home Repair Technician

The Residential Service Technician will handle mixed project types—including renovation projects, repair calls, and routine maintenance—while using professional trade tools and understanding home and structural systems. Technicians report to the owner or general manager, serve customers across the local area and multiple surrounding cities, and have performance-based earning potential with no cap. As skills and contributions grow, technicians may increase their earning percentage and advance into higher roles from within the company.

Responsibilities

• Complete home maintenance, repair, and renovation projects.
• Perform property inspections and identify service needs.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Estimate project requirements and labor accurately.
• Communicate professionally with clients and recognize when to engage or step back.
• Maintain worksite safety and uphold quality standards.
• Document service visits with work summaries, photos, and damage records.
• Provide clear project guidance and status updates to the owner or general manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential maintenance and repair.
• Trade school coursework in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of building systems and professional use of hand and power tools.
• Experience with project estimation, client communication, situational awareness, and problem solving.
