Job Description
Onsite Recruiter
Pay: Negotiable/Competitive
Hours: 7am-4pm, or 8am-5pm, flexible
Location: East Tulsa/Broken Arrow Area
We are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Recruiter to support one of our manufacturing clients with an outstanding company culture.
This is not a recruiter position where you simply fill orders and move on to the next opening. You will become an extension of the client’s team, working closely with supervisors, employees, and our recruiting team to build a strong, dependable workforce.
The right person will take the time to understand what each department and supervisor is looking for, recruit candidates who truly fit those teams, stay connected with employees after they start, and identify ways to improve retention and reduce turnover.
If you enjoy recruiting but also love building relationships, solving problems, and being directly involved in the success of the workforce you support, this could be a great opportunity.
**Must have previous Recruiting experience**
What You’ll Do
- Manage recruiting and staffing needs for a busy manufacturing operation
- Build strong working relationships with supervisors, managers, and plant leadership
- Learn the individual hiring needs, expectations, and preferred candidate profiles for each department
- Recruit, screen, interview, and identify candidates for manufacturing and industrial positions
- Coordinate candidate submissions, interviews, offers, onboarding, and start dates
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and upcoming openings
- Conduct regular follow-up with new employees after placement
- Build relationships with employees and become a trusted point of contact onsite
- Identify employee concerns early and work proactively to resolve issues
- Partner with client leadership to identify causes of turnover and develop strategies to improve retention
- Track attendance, performance concerns, employee feedback, and staffing trends
- Assist with coaching, employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance conversations when needed
- Conduct check-ins, orientations, and other employee engagement activities
- Communicate staffing updates, recruiting challenges, and workforce trends to client leadership
- Work closely with our internal recruiting team to ensure recruiting efforts align with the client’s priorities
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee information within Bullhorn and other staffing systems
What We’re Looking For
- The ideal candidate is someone who can recruit effectively while also developing strong relationships with both employees and client leadership.
- You should be comfortable walking into a supervisor’s office, talking through what is working and what isn’t, meeting employees on the production floor, recruiting candidates, solving problems, and continuously looking for ways to make the account stronger.
Qualifications
- Recruiting, staffing, human resources, account management, or onsite staffing experience preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial staffing experience is a strong plus
- Strong customer service and client relationship skills
- Ability to build credibility and trust with supervisors and employees
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Comfortable handling employee relations and difficult conversations
- Ability to identify problems and develop solutions instead of simply reacting to issues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Bullhorn or another applicant tracking system is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Why This Role Is Different
- Success in this position is not measured only by how many positions you fill.
- We are looking for someone who wants to understand the operation, learn the people, build relationships with supervisors, improve the employee experience, and ultimately create a workforce that stays.
- You will have the opportunity to become a true staffing partner to a manufacturing company with a great culture while being supported by an experienced recruiting team.
- If you are competitive, people-oriented, organized, and enjoy seeing the direct impact of your recruiting efforts, we would love to talk with you.
